Unique three-dimensional decorative fiber art sculptured through the ancient hand felting process using just agitation, water, soap, and hand-selected sustainable loose natural fibers such as Merino wool, Tussah silk, Flax, and Silk cocoons. The micro details and sophisticated texture are created by shaping and layering the hand dyed fibers and then fusing them by the felting to form the unique and durable surface. Each piece is individually crafted by Jeanne Akita, making it a truly one-of-a-kind creation.

Additionally, the piece can be displayed either vertically or horizontally, which might give more flexibility in deciding where and how it fits into the space. When ordering, please specify whether you need the piece to be oriented vertically or horizontally.

The felted artwork doesn’t need to be protected or covered, as the wool naturally has antistatic properties that prevent dust from settling. It’s recommended to gently use a feather duster, perhaps once a year, to maintain its pristine condition.
